Go, Argentina!
Vor einigen Tagen hatte ich die Gelegenheit als Fotoreporter unterwegs zu sein. Ich begleitete Grundschüler bei der Teilnahme der Grundschul-Basketball-WM 2014. Angetreten für das Land Argentinien, mit liebevoll gestaltetem und professionell erstelltem Outfit traten die Dritt- und Viertklässler an und zeigten in ihrem erstmaligen Turnier viel Teamgeist, Emotionen und Kampfgeist. Trainer und Fans waren in allen Höhen und Tiefen dabei - für mich also ein besonderes Vergnügen, so viele Gefühle und Stimmungen einzufangen.
Ich freue mich sehr über diesen kleinen fotografischen Ausflug, der freundlicherweise auch über den Blogg der Schule erwähnt wurde.

Some days ago I had the chance to be a documentary photographer for an elementary class who attended a basketball tournment. The kids showed up as argentina and brought an amazing outfit which they created on their own and that has been produced professionally. What a great memory for them after games full of emotional highs and lows. They performed excellently as this has been their first real game, nevertheless had to accept a placement in the very low range. Thankfully this will not be the final impression as everyone was fighting at his best. Coach, families and fans supported a team that finished as the winner of our hearts.
What a great experience for me to capture emotions and athmosphere of that day, and thankfully it has been noted on the schools blogg also :-)
