Your passport will only be issued with a proper biometric passport photo. In case you travel with children or babies there's no way out to get those mugshot pictures of your kids, those that usually won't sit still or view into a camera directly (without laughing and blinking of course).

The photograp(Her) will twist and screw and joke and quickly snap, as long as the kid is playing, talking or even screaming around.

But with patience there will be an awesome result: there will be that picture authorities require so rigorously and for our pleasure we're gifted with lots of emotional portraits. We preserve our very own biometric passport photo for those travel documents, but proudly present our outtakes here.
